the submarine specific variables (2018) in the efile cfg. What do you mean? Anyway, it's clearly a regression since as I said older executables don't display this shadowing, while newer ones do (on the same test scenario linked above). :huh For example, as far as i know, sub_ex=1 is not widely used...

Added a 3K map pack download link to the first post. The rar file has 286mb and contains 84 3K maps, all but 3 are 8-bit png maps.
One smaller map is also added that is needed to play the Weltkrieg campaign.

When playing PBEM with the new leader options i get asked to accept leaders for the other player. Happens when it is my turn but the enemy unit gets a leader in a defensive action.

Hehe yeah, the barrel length of the 155mm SPG looks unreal. The 130mm looks much better and more realistic :cool

I think it is better to keep the style of the existing icons and not having 20 new icons look very much different. Personaly i would favor to use wrong icons (that i have to do anyway becasue many icons do not exist) than icons that look too different.

Personaly i use the png versions of the maps. You can download them from mapfinder. 8 bit png files have less colors (you will not notice in the game), but lossless compression and no ugly jpg artifacts.
