We are looking for a new name for our shiny new pub. Deadline is October 31. Every member can suggest one name and after we met the deadline, we will run a poll in November. Of course you can change your suggestion until the deadline is reached, but there can be only one valid entry/person. I will collect the suggestions and post a list from time to time. So pick up your Shady Lady at the Puzzels, have a drink at the Roaring Maus and think about your suggestion while playing a game of cards at the Casino Royale. Please post your proposals in this thread. Of course my suggestion has to be: Double Deuce

we should have created a strict rule: one person can post only one nominee

remember, the poll has limited (10 by default) options. maybe we should create two rounds: i collect and post all mentioned nominees on 31st of october, and from 1st november to 15th november everybody who is interested in it, should post 1-10 candidates what s/he likes, and the 10 most frequently mentioned will be candidates in the poll, what will be opened till 30th november. is it acceptable?

Yes, sound reasonable and practical

I wrote such a rule in the first post, maybe i was just not strict enought. Or people just post at the bottom of the thread without reding the first post. Anyway, i will only collect the first suggestion of every person and dismiss every other suggestion. But everybody can change his/her suggestion until the deadline is reached. Deadline is 31st October. So long we have:

i can increase the options for a vote up to 15 in the phpbb, it's not a problem (edit: it's done)

how many votes a user can have? only one or maybe 2-3? with more votes maybe the people can vote for something else than their own candidates, and we can pick a winner easier
