no music again - but as Radoye, let's say "owner" of this thread was around and doesn't mind it being like all others i.e. "open" - however i'll add few more to my 3-4 previous posts and finish here...

interestingly - we often forget some simple things around us when talking something "scientific" - in our "culture" (where to put it, maybe "linguistics") when Serb (too unimportant and no time now to check wider i.e. globally) is very angry one of the phrases is "I am gonna drink your blood!" :) .... as said we are all connected and inteconnected in varous ways tribally, but for theorists about percents - Celtic nations and we do not share dominant DNA haplogroup. (as said it is "I" with great mixture of others) Scordiscii are founders of our capital and other few cities around...

that is more or less funny thing i remembered just... i have another addition to all readers (somebody is reading, though) and those interested, not really addition rather direction to look at "Translations" thread here in the pub, it went down but easy to find. won't link as it is not music :) look yourself ; namely, among other serious or humoristic things at very end i presented some interersting details about our ruler Stefan Lazarević - intriguing person, to summarize best parts except legendary alleged black armor (and "something Ottomans never seen in their life" by Turk books), but also seamingly loved and respected by maybe most powerful rulers of his time, east and west of his reign, not known why exactly except that he was "skilled".... proposing to look at that thread. If not "Draculian", cool figure related to "Draculean story" - also nobody ever seen his wife just mentioned as Elena from Genoese Gattilusio family, adding to mistery about personality :) (for us significant and skilled in battle, getting epithet "lion" by Timur, in tribe usually connected/realted to wolves... but that's for another "scary story" about warewolves))

would be all to add, next time only with youtube link, if around this thread, pardon ;)

Haha, yes, and from the drummer and the lead singer/guitarist too! Brilliant! A real super group! But I also have to confess that I had not heard of them before. A big drawback for an old rock fan like me :o

That's the one I meant!
Maybe I counted the Show Open too...

Besides those two more obvious "easter eggs", when I went from them to listening the whole concert I found another much less obvious one.
Towards the end of "Stacked Actors" there is a quote from "Hocus Pocus" (around 9:50 to 10:25), one of the most iconic themes of old Dutch band "Focus".

Focus - Hocus Pocus live show 1973

Although probably "Sylvia", and specially "House of the King" should be the better known.
In case someone doesn't know about them already and got curious for more:

Actually the band is still in action with some of the original members:

There used to be a band called Morphine:

Morphine were fronted by Mark Sandman, who suddenly died while performing on stage in 1999.

Years later, his former band mates reformed as Vapors of Morphine and just released an album a few days ago. Here are a couple of songs performed live:

1914 - FN .380 ACP#19074
"Thus, 1914 couple the third song from their record "Where Fear And Weapons Meet". The long-player will be released on October 22 by Napalm Records. The blackened death doomers from Ukraine tell more gruesome stories from the First World War on the disc. Guest vocalist on "Where Fear And Weapons Meet" is Nick Holmes (PARADISE LOST). 'FN .380 ACP#19074' is about the assassination of Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife in Sarajevo in 1914 - an event that was one of the triggers for the outbreak of WWI."

SABATON - Christmas Truce

In the SABATON track, the Swedes revive this unique truce. Instead of fighting each other, soldiers on the Western Front in Flanders sang Christmas carols together and exchanged gifts. "We think we've managed to write a song that captures the spirit of that day more than a century ago," says bassist Pär Sundström.

Napalm Records presents two more videos from the album "Where Fear and Weapons Meet" released a few days ago by the band 1914 from Ukraine.

...And a Cross Now Marks His Place ft. Nick Holmes (Official Lyric Video)
Hptm. Ditmar Kumarberg on the first song:
“The story behind “...And A Cross Now Marks His Place” totally captured me: This is the real letter, handwritten by the British officer to the mother of a soldier who died in action. This was not a standard form sent in thousands, but more like a personal message. He describes the way her son died, tells words of consolation, and emphasizes how the Crown is proud of him, another victim of the massacre between Empires.“
Pillars of Fire (The Battle of Messines)
This song describes the terrible events of the Battle of the Messines Ridge during June 7-14, 1917 in Belgium, one of the most insane episodes of the Great War. Subjects of the British crown and ANZACS dug a huge tunnels under the German positions, packed them with hundreds of tons of explosives and blew them up. In one second, in just one moment about 10,000 people have died. They were simply torn to pieces. The human brain is always subject to non-trivial approaches to kill each other. The title of the track is a direct reference to the wonderful book by Jan Passingham - 'Pillars of Fire: The Battle of the Messines Ridge', also the movie 'Beneath Hill 60', and memories of the participants of this event. Some eyewitnesses described the scene as "pillars of fire", although many also acknowledged this was indescribable.

so let's add to this east-Slavic block while i'm in mood, music now.... we are from there, they made us, they die for us etc etc period. it is not questionable, like some Scot for example in Australia talking about his old country or things... i'm proud Scyth but like them (Serb is translated into east-Slavic sexual slave))... btw girl is Ukrainian singer, singing on Russian for those not knowing, there is nothing politcal in it

So, one of the reasons we like them is language also. For example, we also have word "sneg" and use it, but when they say it it's much softer and specific, we always recognize them when they speak our language. We like that... our "Rascian" (today central Serbian) is toughest or "hardest" sounding of all due to Scythish influences ) hard to tell when exactly it developed as "plebs" did not write in the middle ages, but it is safe to say that even elite or Serb-church Slovenic/Slavic already showed some unusual distorsions and differences, touching Bulgar... question is open, while what i said about east-Slavic which melts us, is not.... have fun, do join me
