The other guys inspired me too play this CC too, so i started it some days ago. I also never ever played the central path of this campaign because i was always more interested in going to the north or south and i am somehow not very much interested in the battles of the center anyway.
But i will choose the central path this time :yes I will also try to maximize prestige and go for some tactical victorys which offers much more prestige.

Current scenario: Brest-Litovsk

Same map as before. At HQ i just upgraded my Flak and tank. No protos possible after this scenario, so i decided to go for a last turn tactical victory and give my men some training time. Still i am loosing some pp, but there was no chance to stay below the cap with +1000 pp for a tactical victory.
Experience gain was great, so i am :cool

Current scenario: Minsk

I upgraded my two infantries and bought an artillery. I attacked Minsk in the center from 3 directions while i sent more and more (fast) units to Borisov (in the northeast) the longer the battle lasted. I thought i would not get a BV here, but at the end i had enough units (and planes) gathered around Borisov for a final powerful attack. The 0.91 AI is also very lazy. That helps me :)

Current scenario: Bobruysk

Finaly i was time for my first proto, a 8,8 Flak/SPAT. AT HQ bought a better transport for my artillery and bought another infantry as well.
Then i bought one or two SP for my bomber.

I sent most units to the north and was lacking power in the east, so i had to send more units to the east, but it was too late.
The turn limit was tight in this scenario and i would have missed BV by one or two turns anyway, so i decided to go for a tactical victory again.
The enemy air force was powerful, i was not expacting this :bonk

Current scenario: Smolensk

At HQ i upgraded my bomber and bought a recon.

After deployment i approached the nearest VHs, but sent most unit past them. The first VH i captured was Mogilev, in the center of the map. The AI is not moving much and i sent most units further east while few other units stayed in the back and took out enemy after enemy at the western VHs, which i captured in the second part of the battle.
The 3 VHs east of Mogilev i took more or less simultaneously just in time to get a BV.

Current scenario: Roslavl

Got a SPATY proto, but when i load the savegame to play the scenario, i loaded the automatic save and forgot about the proto :bonk So i continued without it.

At HQ i just bought strengthpoints for my units. With a strength of 15 my bomber can take out most units with a single attack. Unfortunately the planes are so slow in this efile, it took them half of the turns to get back to my airfield for refills and then back to the battle zone.

I did not read the briefing :bonk and speeded to the east, but when i met enemy MSU in the south i got confused, read the briefing and restarted the scenario :lol I then sent all my units to the south and attacked the southwestern group of enemy MSUs while half of my army crossed the river and attacked the eastern group of MSUs.
I missed most of the flag prestige but got a BV. I don't know if it would have been better to capture all VHs and win that way :huh

Current scenario: Yelnia

Bought a tank at HQ. I liked the scenario :cool but messed it up again. I thought i should only hold 5 VH but for a BV i should have captured soviet VHs as well. The fight was fun, so there is no reason to play it again.
There are 5 VHs, which the player should hold. In the northwest i had 3 aux artilleries and hold the VH easily. In the north (center) i had most of my core units and although i lost the VH for few turns, i was able to recapture it soo. In the northeast i had only few troops, lost the VH and recaptured it at the end of the fight. In the southeast i had a lot of aux units with 3 (later 4) artilleries and my core 8,8 as well as an core engineer. They did a good job and all my units were able to hold the line. My 5th VH was never at threat.
When i found out that i should capture the soviet VHs, it was to late but with the help of my planes i could see that there were not many defenders :bonk :bonk

Current scenario: Desna River

At HQ i just bought strength points only. I refused to buy (or down/upgrade to) bridging infantry or paratroopers so all i could get was a tactical victory. I just had one aux bridging units which i had to send to the northwest first to release some of my units who were trapped behind a river of ocean labeled hex.
The fights were easy and soon all VHs on the western shore of the Desna river were in my hands. I then used the aux bridging unit to cross the Desna river in the northeast and sent my units along the eastern shore to the last VH in the southeast.

Protos are set off in many (most?) scenarios, so that won't be a problem. I am still :irate about myself for taking the wrong save without the second proto yesterday :lol
You are right, the cap is slim and rises very slow. There are also no upgrade options anymore. The only thing i can do is to put the prestige into strength points as attachments are not available. I don't think my army will become much bigger. We'll see :cool

Current scenario: Konotop

At HQ i just bought strength points for all of my units. Lost many of them in the battle though.
I had two battlegoups, one comming down from the north and one from the northeast, but things got mixed quite fast in the center and at the end i had my units dispersed all across the map. There was fighting everywhere and there were still some enemies alive here and there.
My bomber - so good again with 7 kills, i just wish it had a greater range.
I liked this chaotic scenario, but my BV effort was fruitless - no protos available in the next scenario :lol

Current scenario: Viazma

Again i bought only strength points at HQ. Deployed my best units in the center and the rest + planes in the south. I took most VHs by flanking them and attacking the defending artilleries from behind. Or i called my Stuka, which again did a great job. Most VHs fell quickly, but the last VH in the center of the map was a harder nut to crack. I had ordered some damaged units to capture it when there was still a lot of time and the rest of my army drove past the VH further to the east. But the central VH was defended by a stack, consisting of a bunker and an artillery underneath the bunker. My damaged units could not engage the bunker and if they did, they took even more losses. So i had to call my planes oce again. My fighter (aux fighters too) killed the bunker and in the last turn my Stuka killed the defending artillery with one shot. BOOOOM! :cool

Current scenario: Orel

I had not enough prestige to buy the "good" Stuka, so just bought strength points again. The scenario was tricky. VHs spread out across the map and a little army on my side. I restarted this once after i learned that BV was not possible anymore in my first try. Proto time next scenario... :lol You have to send the right number of units to every VH, otherwise you will not capture all VHs in time. Well, that's my impression. So i, again, ended up with my army dispersed across the whole map. There are no special tactics, just sent the right number of units to every enemy VH. There were again stacks defending two of the enemy VHs.
Eventually i got a last turn BV in my secod try :yes

So, what was all the effort worth? Not much, i just got a cheap towed AT proto :P

I also decided that i will definitely assign some random leaders in my future campaigns and encourage players to reload for their favorite leaders. For me some of the fun gets lost when you never get your favorite leaders. Can't tell when i got an Overwatch or Camo Expert Leader for the last time :huh

Anyway, at HQ i bought another tank and some strength points. This scenario was "expensive" because i lost many of my SP.
BV was not possible for me, so i played until the second to last turn for a TV. At the beginning i tried to save my strength points and that took me a lot of time for maneuvers... For example, in the south i could not attack some enemy guns with my planes because their was an enemy strength 6 AD and didn't want to risk loosing a SP. But the longer the battle lasted the more SP i lost.

The scenario name says Bryansk, but it was the Kazan map. So i deployed two battlegroups in the north and south. My best units were in the north, my planes in the south. As i said maneuvering was costly in terms of turns :lol First i had to clear the western shore of the river and then attampted to cross the river in the south and north. In the north i had one of my infantries taking the long way along the map edge while most of my northern battlegroup approached the big city directly.
As i said BV was beyod my capabilities. Maybe if one knows the enemy positions and avoids some of the fights? Nah, no time to think about it, its Blitzkrieg after all :D

I also got redirected to an other path because of my TV :dunno

Current scenario: Tula

Well, what can i say? The journey ends here. The scenario is to hard for me.
I checked some old AARs at JP's but nobody played this path after Bryansk and this Tula scenario :lol
I tried it two times. First i bought a large gun and some SP for the other units. Second i bought 3 ATs and a medium gun.
In both tries it was snowing 80% or 90% of the time and i could not use my planes.
The enemy attacks are to strong and i have to defend my VHs but can not attack the other VHs at the same time.
I need my units for defense duties and can not disperse them across the map to engage the distant VHs.
But thats not a problem, there were some fun scenarios and the most important thing is taking part, not winning :lol :lol
