Efile critique
The low Fuel of ground units. The campaign is short/easy, but in longer/more difficult scenarios, the low Fuel could lead to a bottleneck. Also, units without Fuel have defense penalty. I understand that Fuel and resupply should be a "big" consideration when playing, but at less than 35 fuel it grows to a "serious" problem - imho.
The Attachments are a bit expensive - but this is highly subjective, and different efiles/campaigns have different policies about this topic.
Otherwise, i like the Efile very much
- innovative ideas
- minefields as units
- aircraft don't need Fuel
it is fun to play campaigns
Campaign critique
Negative feelings are only about 2 things.
1) the easyness of some scenarios:
- Pusan
- Operation Thunderbolt
- Spring Offensive 2nd Stage
- Fall Offensives
Especially "Pusan" and "Spring Offensive 2nd Stage": both can be won in 3-4 turns, which feels too short.
2) Default XP goes up and down, up and down.
Especially a drop going back down to 0 XP is rather critical, and leads to a point where core building gets difficult - or respectively unpredictable.
Neutral feelings - something which i think i should mention, but is about (a potental re-)balance:
- Green Replacements come with so much XP, that buying Elite Replacements is rather meaningless
Maybe dropping their XP to 55-60% would work better.
Good feelings, the campaign
- is short
- doesn't involve too many auxes, respectively with a bigger core they can be ignored
- easy to play
In the past couple of years many medium to high difficulty and/or long campaigns were released, leaving the "playing field" for beginners and those looking for something quick to play rather thin.
Overall, i found the campaign enjoyable
