A question that popped up:
- you buy a Hungarian unit and upgrade it to a German unit ( "friendly" Nation to "foreign" Nation upgrade)
- you buy a Hungarian unit and upgrade it to Hungarian equiment supplied by Germany (upgrade within the same Nation or "friendly to friendly" upgrade)

Which of the 2 units still counts as being Hungarian ? Case example: the Hungarian army had Ju 87, but no He 177 in their inventory.
Are we strict and say "only upgrading to Ju 87 (or only to Hungarian Ju 87) is allowed", or is any upgrade fair game for the Nationality scoring ?

Someone needs to pick a campaign. I think we should start with a campaign not longer than 20 scenarios, so we can see how it works.
I nominate Keighleyred to pick a campaign first.

Do we agree about the LXF Efile for the first MTC?
The campaign should start with a core tank in the players army and we can give him a leader right from the start. Which leader? I don't mind.
How long should a MTC take? I'd say 4 months. Of course players can play the challenge later too/again.
The winner should pick a new campaign an leader imo.
Who will do the statistics? Sorry, but i have already so much OG business to do, i don't have to for this :lol
Should we ask for a general AAR subforum? Can be used for MTC AARs and other AARS that are not for playtesting.
We could create some Medals which every winner will be allowed to wear in the forum signature. They will be allowed to print them on paper and wear them in all day life too :lol
And most important: Will there be more than 3 players? ;)

What are the categories?
- Tank with most kills
- Tank with post exp
- Fighter who shot down most planes (winner will receive a special "Master Air Lord of the Skies Medal" :lol )
- ?

The 2 obvious choices for a serious MTC would be "Overwhelming Attack" and "Battlefield Intelligence" i guess, but we can pick anything.
What i don't understand: did you mean "start the campaign, save, add a leader to the tank via Suite" ?

Like you i have some other projects running, but a shorter campaign should be doable.

Don't know if we can convince, bribe or blackmail Csaba, but yes: would be great to have.

- Tank with most kills

- Ship that sank most ships
These are solid as the "official" categories.
Everyone can inofficially add his/her own campaign heroes at the conclusion, like "infantry with most tank kills" or so, if desired :yep

Yes, that is what i mean. Should we handle it otherwise? I don't know what is the best idea.

Nah, i already said that i spend to much time with OG, playing and designing :lol Also i post in this forum much to much.

But given the low interest the whole idea is maybe just a castle in the sky :dunno It makes no sense to plan a series of MTCs for just 3 players...

It is the one option, that gives equal starting conditions.

Every participant is required to post the screenshots for the "hero" units anyway, so it would just be
- opening a thread
- some short sentences of explanation
- collecting the screenshots appropriate for the 4 categories (if applicable, example: not all campaigns feature a core navy)

How about this: the "hero" tank with the least kills decides the player who will do the statistics ;D

Okay

i nominate the newest campaign for LXF 1936-45 RED ARMY CAMPAIGN
I suggest the leader Overwhelming Attack

i suggested this as you already have a tank to start with and we can head the leader to it as suggested

i have only played 4 scenarios in my previous run with BATTLEFIELD iNTELLIGENCE

Panzers roll :ihope

I just wanted to write an "official" introtuctory posting, when i realized that one parameter is still missing:
- all BVs (if possible)
- as many kills for the :monster tank (even if this means going for TVs)
?

I would say "all BVs (if possible)", for fairness and shorter playing times.
"if possible", since in older campaigns sometimes the campaign path gets decided by scenario result, and sometimes a core (or player) cannot achieve a BV in a given scenario.

I would say "all BVs (if possible)", for fairness and shorter playing times.
I took the liberty of adding this rule to the current MTC :angel

Da steht dran Unit out of range.

:lol

Good tank :cool nearly 10k experience. Though there are better attachments for monster tanks than "forward observer", because it helps not the tank but your artillery and AD units.

It's nice to hear that you like the GUI panels. Feel free to use them whenever you want :yes

Forward observer: the artillery shoots and the tank only massacres. As much as possible overruns.

BTW. I developed my own graphic for the firing range lines. I wanted the line to be more visible. What do you think?

:cool

Hier mal was exotisches, dafür leider nicht sehr viel Erfahrung.
