Duke Falcon's E-files - links in the 1.st post!

by Duke Falcon
As a main post, here and now, you can gather some information about my e-folders, e-files and mods I created for the different Generals.
Currently these are as much as but the list may expand later. Please, here you shall not find any WW2 things at all. This topic is for different themes, styles, call it a bright spot in the dark forest of WW e-files, if you like. Let us see then, what this small meadow may provide YOU, dear possible future player of my mods!

To find contents: Descriptions with long banners are "milestone" versions! Patches and other extras represented by small sprites toward the bottom of this post!

Image
Xeno General is my first e-folder for OpenGen featuring extraterrestrial alien forces and sci-fi stuffs. Players could play many different campaign what together provide a complete story line of this OG universe. The Xeno General now reached it's pinnacle in the form of "Complete".
NOTE: This e-folder needs the latest executable (as of 2019.08.01. available) what uses SDL2! This means Win7 or higher is recommended to run all it's contents properly!
Xeno General Complete is the complete, single-package version of XG creating a folder for itself. It also contains descriptive PDFs about the contents. It is about 305 MBs:

Image
This is a mod converted\conversed from People's General (PeG). As such it is ready to play on it is own and not need the original PeG game, nor OpenGeneral.
As the title suggest the mod took place in the legendary Sengoku-jidai, a great political and military turmoil in the medieval Japan what ended when Tokugawa Iyeasu finally founded it's bakufu, the Tokugawa-Shogunate.
To download this click on this banner:
Image
It is ~81 MB in size to download.

Image
Fantasy General mod or may call e-folder is the resurrection of the old and fantastic Fantasy General game from the five stars generals series. While it has the same units and heroes this revival has a different story and six nations instead of three. And while the playable sides are still good and evil there are neutral factions whom shall join to the different sides during the campaigns and maybe do leave them on certain points of the story. This e-folder use big single-face icons what gives a strong fantasy feeling for the game. This version includes 4 campaigns, about 10 stand-alone scenarios and a pdf manual all in a "EFILE_FG" folder what simply copy into the OpenGeneral main folder! It is strongly recommended for general players to play the campaigns on 150:100 player:AI prestige modifiers otherwise the game may be utterly hard!
Click the banner to download the zip archive:
Image
Download size is ~254 MB.

Image
Dune e-folder is exactly what is may sounds: an OG ported version of the great Arrakis-saga. All the well-known Houses of Frank Herbert's Dune is implemented along with a few more just to compete for Dune and the spice Melange. Full, finished version contain 8 campaigns and 10 stand-alone-scenarios. To get it click on this banner:
Image
Download size is ~200 MB.

Image
Modern Warfare is a more-or-less fictional e-folder based upon modern military equipments and featuring "what if" campaigns and scenarios (originally it were made for PeG and contained a campaign where Russia attacks Europe starting with Ukraine, and well, the Ukraine War part happened since, sorry).
This current version is playable yet not finished fully (may have glitches need to fix)! It currently contains 10 campaigns and 9 stand-alone scenarios. Banner let you download it:
Image

And completely different things' common place should be here. Yes, here, since this place is as good as anything else. First CD picture is contains a link to download my OG tracks made for Xeno General and Fantasy General. Since these mods not always plays musics I thought I share the music tracks like this. Hearing them in themselves may sound strange but believe me that during the game they will be perfect and not odd even the slightest tiny piece of bits. Please, note that I not made only remastered and\or remixed these musics so I have no copyrights over them and nor does You! Track infos are in the zip archive along with the musics (108 MBs download size). The starship lead you, if click on it, to a patch for Xeno General Extented what contains minor changes and balances for equipment file and bugfixes for scenarios. After extraction of the zip archive simply overwrite the XGX folders files with the new ones! Size is about 7MBs. The witch is the gateway to obtain the Fantasy General patch what not only fixes bugs but also adds ground transport units for the game in exchange of ~2MBs of download! The map-looking icon leads to a collection of maps and scenarios for FG and also some minor fixes (just overwrite everything and you will be OK!) plus adds ammo-supply units for both campaigns! The Dak-trooper leads to another XG-patch what also contains a new campaign (137 MBs). And if you click on Arrakis then you receive a patch for Dune e-file along with 6 new stand-alone scenarios! It is only 28MBs, so click!

ATTENTION! DO NOT USE THESE ICONS AS MANY OF THEM NOT VALID ANY LONGER! THANKS!

Lately I found my PeG Sengoku and it give some very bad idea:

Image

These are only a few items so far and some factions not even sketched so far (Sóhei warrior monks, e.g.). And it need so many changes in the current GUI files, like:
- Flags in size of 24x24 (this is the smallest size where a kamon remain recogniseable, no way to make it in the current 21x14) or 21x24 but that may looks stretched
- More attack animations like clashing swords for melee, arrow rain for ranged combat and gunfire for firearms

Maps could be made in heavily f**ked HoMM 4 editor (I mean I may need to change the ingame sprites for japanese buildings and such). So it is a long term project (3-5 years) if I decide to continue and make it...

Bodhisattva!

After trying for a few days to download your works the score is as follows:
The music CD I didn't try as it seems I can hear it ingame.
The rest eventually got here with one exception: the FG additional campaign, the 40mb file, keeps on looping a "loading a new key" message.

A doubt...
A few weeks ago started having a go at Dune.
As more often than not when playing the now very old Dune2 I went for the Harkonnen.
Most recent battle (06b or Tabr) ended up in campaign termination with me not getting if it was really last scenario or if I didn't meet all the objectives.
I did get there was a message ordering the destruction of the enemy air force, which I didn't complete before conquering the VH and ending the scenario.
Only got 2 of the 3 buggers... do I have to get the third ornitopter before entering the VH?...

Aesthetics, but I'll say it.
This Dune soundtrack is really good at creating "immersion".

Dune is strange lately. Campaigns what worked once now generate strange stuffs. I will need to update them and check everything is fine in the chain of scenarios. I think killing all the topters not mandatory just adviced to make the scenario a bit colourfull. All scenarios concludes in a tenth clash but on which road the player reach them is mostly open. So if everything happens before that that is a bug or error (i doubt you ran away of time as Dune grants plenty of times for scenarios). I think if conquering Sietch Tabr not let you select the next clash on the region map than the scenario's end links toward the next options is most probably broken. The strange part is that I had no problem with Tabr except messages told me that a few units were out of the map (there were no such units nor reinforcement and never revealed what caused the problem).
If I remember correctly I removed the link for the FG additions by accident and not renewed it yet. I wanted to implement everything in FG complete but I will be off for a month or so because of a nasty tumour what get surgically removed tomorrow. So If something (links) not work it means I revamp a bunch of stuffs just forgot to tell it for the forum.

Aye!
Nothing to do with hitting turn limit.
Sublime victory was registered.

I did ran out of front line units on a first approach to the scenario.
I let the artilleries lag too much behind and the enemy artilleries just shred them front line guys to bits with no chance for me to reply.

Now go get that thing out!

I announce that for a while expect no updates for my e-files.
The reason is that I right before of chemoteraphy what will took a while and will smash me badly. Therefore the above statement. What little mood I have and will have I want to spend to play (now playtest my rebalanced Red Guard campaign and it still hard). When and how will I return to making brainless, freak e-files I can not tell right now. Maybe around mid- or late summer or mayhaps the next year.
But if you want, please, stay tuned!

Thanks all, friends!

I start my trip through hell next week. But I not plan to become absent and want to post at least my playtest's result (not to mention my 24.th level amazon in Diablo 2 what is an awesome progress for me). It will help me a lot to play and keep my mind bogged down.

It also means I need to start a few new topic :)

It seems now that toward the end of april or dawn of may I could upload the latest XG Complete. It would consist new units, scenarios and some serious fixes for campaigns. Also rewrite the XenoGuide since the ingame unit descriptions and some graphical changes rendered it obsolate.

Then I want to finish the Modern Warfare for PeG. If things will converge (Orbán & his bandit group act sane for some reason) during summer my chemo and corresponding therapies shall continue... Dim chance I know but Orbán may infested by COVID and gain some sane consciousness (you right, this is not that reality nor that dimension of existance)...

Good to hear about an update for Xeno, love this mod. Looking also forward for the next modern war scenarios for Peg Modern war.
Sad to hear about the stop of your therapy, hope it will continue soon. My best whishes to you.

OK
XG complete updated, download link in the first post! Unzip the zip and write over all old contents!

- all units have pedia descriptions
- some minor unit's graphic changes
- some changes in existing campaigns' scenarios
- added a new race and a new campaign
- new PDFs for deeper insight to XG universe

...

Now time to finish Modern Warfare for PeG. Then Fantasy General comes (or do you want DUNE e-file be updated first?)

Campaigns not work? Which ones?
I started all campaigns to see if they works or not and found no troubles. If overwrite not works, create a new XG_C folder and unzip things there. See if that works (and perhaps the version of the executive + suite needs some update?).

The only real trouble I know exist about it that sometimes Win7 or higher drop out to desktop but that is clearly and OS failure (well, we talk about Windowses afterall)...

Ok, found a way. Made a second og installation with updated core files especially for your e files. Works good.
In the "March of the red guard " i cant enter the purchase screen, everything else seems to work great.
Great, Dune , FG and xeno is enough to play endless hours, thank you againe.

Red Guard campaign is a "no buy" campaign. Could buy attachments and overstrength after scenarios but not buy!
I attached some pedia stuffs in PDF for the e-folder what rates and describes the campaigns. Worth to study that before jump into the deepest water (Red Guard campaign is the hardest one from all)...

10+ grade Duke, for imagination, work and fantasy sensibility :yes I don't mind having extra gig in OG folder for it... not sure how much i'll play though - i sit around 9pm yesterday just to check mods and if all works (it does) and it was near midnight without even playing scenario :) i'm not the one inventing phrase "time flies" - but must've been really gigantic work, hope you are pleased with it.

graphically not best of solutions (i'm skilled enough to put black background if in need and can tweak forms, so it is to individual judgement and will) icons & maps can be tiresome for eyes and so on... but you are into graphical design yourself so i understand your need to have more complex solutions than my symple black backgrounds :) just said as that's downside and something where i'll have to "butcher" your work when/if i use it, for personal intent of course. anyway, forget about preferences and colors - glad there are people with such imagination. btw, SSI's FantasyGen is by my opinion maybe the hardest (when it comes to stock campaign) of all in their general series. it was never modded so it's kinda your hommage to it, although i mostly spent time with your Xeno mod, liked some units more than your FG ones (except Slave Archers))

take care, this is just btw comment on impressive work i haven't used much but glad to have :yes

Right, it is time to return to OG for a while. I want to finish the FG e-file if possible in this year. The to-do list is simple as always: make everything... Or in details:
- Want to add description for all units (currently +700 are in the equipment) what would be veeeeery long to accomplish...
- Add a new campaign + finish the currently WiP one mean it will have five campaigns alltogether...
- Add new units what would be alternatives (like Skeleton lancers parallel with Skeletons among light infantry) perhaps with minimally or not different stats...

Why the third? I got some critics about the "lack of units" as well as "gender-fanatic" responses. Not sure why hate one that there were heavy spearwomen instead of the original FG's heavy spearmen but... Well, alternative units, you know. More work but not much meaning one may say but who knows? Perhaps sheer number is what satisfy some people...

Panem et circenses (sed avenam non)!

Updated Fantasy General a tid-bit. In the main post the FG banner (if everything set-up well) leads to a ~254MBs ZIP package what (again, if everything done well) unzip an EFILE_FG folder. Put it or overwrite the old one to have the latest version. This is still a WiP version NOT a complete as I still need to make two campaigns and six new factions for those campaign (it needs another half year at best)...

The current version includes:
- 4 campaigns (3 main and one what contains five selectable mini-campaigns)
- Unitpedia (Almost all "hero" class units have a bio while mainstream units have descriptive texts)
- About ten or so stand-alone scenarios (4 have unique heroes you not see anywhere else in the game)

***** ***** *****

And now something else. I also started to update the obsolate FG manual but far from finish that to. However I post a few things here from the update what helps to understand better the game's story, history, events and some unit-related abilities...

Aer's cosmology

The system harbors Aer is a twin-system. The larger star, a G-class orange-yellow star called as the "Father". The smaller, a hardly classify greenish-blue star called as the "Mother". The Father grants the daylight but the Mother also could be seen on the sky during the day and night. Sometimes a third star closing to the Father and Mother on a loosy trajectory from north to south according to the ecliptic and this third star called the Lover and could be seen only once per a century.
Aer, the beautyful planet herself is the second planet of the system. A smaller planet, called Estriar, preceed Aer and it appear as a red disc on the nightsky with a ghostly blue halo at every midyear's night. After Aer, toward the outer rim of the system two other planet could be recognise upon the nightsky and both are gas giants. The closer called Trimarchos while the farther bear the name Xyriphos and both looks like pinkish glowing dots by mere eyes.
Aer have three moons or more precisely one moon and two larger asteroids following the moon. The moon called on Aer as "Thirsha the Virgin" while the two asteroids following here are Beren and Lucian the "virgin's lovers". In the ancient times there were another moon, the "sword of Avantou", but it were used by the evil god Avantou to wound Aer. Most scholars also whisper about another moon hiding in the darkness somewhere between Aer and Trimarchos but those whispers never ever proven anyhow...

Measure of Time

How time is measured on Aer, well, that is a complex thing. A day lighted by the Father spans 49 hours and a cyclic or calendar year contains 366 such days so a year on Aer twice as long as one on Earth. Cyclic years used to count decades and centuries, to mark seasons and to use as a base for calendars. But there is also another year, the life year, used to mark the age of living creatures and it's based on the Mother what results a roughly same year-long time period as ours. So a calendar year is equal with two terran years and in a calendar year a person aging two years...
While the count of the two different type of years mayhaps confusing the measure of other time units are quite familiar. While a day contains 49 hours an hour still contains 60 mins and a single minute is still 60 seconds long. All this is because of the twin stars and their affect on the different aspects of life on Aer...
A calendar year could be easily compare with a terran year both by meaning of seasonal terms and marking monthly periods. The months on Aer, and their days are the following compared with our calendar:

Winterrule (31 days) - January
Winterfall (31 days) - February
Springrise (30 days) - March
Springrule (30 days) - April
Springfall (30 days) - May
Summerrise (31 days) - June
Summerrule (31 days) - July
Summerfall (31 days) - August
Autumnrise (30 days) - September
Autumnrule (30 days) - October
Autumnfall (30 days) - November
Winterrise (31 days) - December

Aer's magic

Magic and spellcaster are common on Aer. Spellcaster learn to regulate their minds and use the free-flowing energy around them to form their spells. Learning magical words or mantras used to activate certain parts of a spellcaster's mind thus connect their meaning to certain spells. Magical items on the other hand are a different thing. Since Aer is a magically rich and vivid world almost all materials are more or less affected by the magical radiations be those ancient, natural magic-radiations or radiations created by activated spells. While some materials soak and store such energies others are perfectly reflect and deny them.
Creating magical items thus also fairly common. A spellcaster take an adequate material, cast a spell and the material soak and store the lingering energies like if one carve a pattern into the wood. Of course creating magical items need to cast a spell far more empowered than a caster may normally do thus it could be dangerous for the caster and the caster's vicinity. That is one of the many reasons why spellcasters usually live into secured towers...
Aer's magic also greatly affected by the weather. Since weather, like rain, storms or snowing change the ionic attributes of the air the freely flowing energy behave slightly differently what is enough to confuse magical effects or fully distort them. This is the reason why most spellcasters not cast spells if the weather is not fully adequate to their needs. On the other hand some spellcasters learn to adapt to the changes of the magical energies caused by the weather and able to cast their spells albeit not completely the same way as they usually does. And some spellcasters learned to controll weather!
And while weather may troubling spellcasters the naturally magical creatures, like unicorns, remain unaffected by those and still able to use their magical powers. Some creatures, like dragons, also unaffected by weather if they learn to cast spells as they are ancient enough to live in synergy with Aer's magic. Magical items also work perfectly in storms except that using them demand more energy thus often exhaust faster.

A guide to magics

Apart from Aer's inherent, ancient magic a few new fields and kinds of spellcasting appeared. Summoning outsiders, like daemons, were not natural on Aer but used since a very long time. Imbue magic however roots back to the dawn of Aer yet less and less spellcasters able to use it correctly because of still unknown reasons. Healing magic as well as cursing share the same source and as natural on Aer as the rune-magic used by the dwarven races. Elemental spells, since they naturally based on energy manipulation, widely considered as the true spirit of Aer's magic and the bulk of spellcasters use these fields when cast their spells.
Daemonic dark magic however alien just like necromancy but these appeared and disappeared time to time in Aer's history. Some powerfull undead mages even develop these but never able to integrate them into Aer's own magical radiations thus remained mostly disputably effective. The true horrors however came when the Shadowlord introduced the nether-magic. The vile magic of the shadows are dangerous for living and dead alike and not only taint the worlds but slowly steal the corrupted worlds' energies until twisted remains left alone...

Do not get Luna as the basic moon as it is extremely large and thus our moon is an exceptation rather than common. And Aer is bigger than Earth since "super-earths" are far more common yet a lower density may result normal gravity even on a planet two times larger than Earth.
So, Aer have very common tides and nice ocean shores (usually) to take the weekend time seriously fun...

Right!
By very far the closest size/mass ratio between planet and satellite in solar system...
Until Charon was spotted around Pluto...
(Pluto is a dwarf-planet now, isn't it, but no matter for the above subject)

But more than the planet - satellite binary I was thinking about the effect of the two stars.
And more complicated, the effect of the third "roaming" star, offset with the ecliptic, occasional as its appearance may be.
So, perhaps I'm more intrigued about tidal directions than worried about the amplitudes.

Of Aer many stories may be told,
From those not yet forgotten.
Save some to which tongues fold,
In silence from horror begotten.

Much is uncertain, more is unknown.
Feeble us mortals borne weakness.
By each recounter new bits are thrown,
And very little did I really witness.

Of common folk comes lore and song.
What's written in sage's vaults lie.
All that was studied for very long,
Ere this undertaking I made, my.

Blue am I though not a bard,
But on being true to the last,
Not to faulter I'll try hard,
This your humble servant Bombast...

Fair is to seek the depths of time
For What was of Aer's first thing.
Such matter is no mere pantomime,
How Aer and company came to being.

The Father bringer of bright light,
The Mother paler gifter of all life.
One, astounding vision of great might,
Other, soothing relief to daily strife.

The Lover lost on its long travel,
A marvel how he finds his way back.
No one has yet achieved unravel,
As where he goes through sky black.

Estriar of night sky red medallion,
Trimarchos and Xyriphos each a spot,
And Thirsha the Virgin leading on,
with Beren and Lucian on pursue, hot.

Holy flying dragons of the frozen North! That is astonishingly superb!
Did you read the manual I attached for the basic FG e-file? Because this bard's tale fits for that and the WiP new one just perfectly!
May I feature this in the expanded manual? Under the name: Bombast the Bard :cool

Affirmative!
I read the manual and the upgrade posted above and it was written accordingly as far as I could.
What do you mean may you feature it in the expanded manual? Of course you may...

The general idea is to introduce the "existence" of an epic of Aer in the story, from which to take "excerpts".
The four initial quatrains actually don't have much to do with a specific part of the story because they are the "proposition".
The bit at the beginning of an epic where the author explains what he's about and presents himself.
The other four are of course a list of characters of Aer's cosmology.

Father and Mother long ages danced,
Through the ethers around each other.
And while at this much they advanced,
Til dance they did facing one another.

Meanwhile a strong longing was born.
So much strong that Mother grew limbs,
And reached for Father she saw forlorn,
Seeking to entice him onto her whims.

It was than the Lover from afar arrived,
Left Mother curious, later in confusion.
A lone visitor much of company deprived,
Misterious wanderer, or just an illusion?

She stretched her limbs onto the Lover,
But for nothing would he have stopped.
And ere any chance was to reach over,
Something caused action to be dropped.

Mother's limbs stretched until no more,
Full to the brim of her rich substance.
Torn apart they were from her very core,
For next generation providing sustenance.

Cause while Father and Mother grew apart,
One upset, the other uneasy at all that,
They coalesced imbued of a revolving art,
Until creation of Aer's brethren was met.

6 more quatrains, these actually don't relate directly to what's on the manual.
So, they narrate, poetically, a possible cosmogony of Aer and the other planets.
The stars appear already in existence. Supposedly, their creation "was" the subject of previous section on the "full cosmogony".
Astronomically, that would be something like:
1. Father and Mother are on approaching process.
2. Father - more massive - pulls material from Mother - less massive.
3. Lover makes first passage causing Mother's ejecta to escape Father's gravitational pull enough to form an accretion disk and also causing Father and Mother to drift apart enough to prevent further ejecting events.

@Micha:
I highly advice to install the latest version of OG and restart the campaign because:
- Units number for both sides doubled and slightly differences may exist or some new units may have very usefull attributes (saboteur, for example)
- Got new heroes what are essentially evening the gameplay as heroes are the key for true victories
- Some scenarios have some fixes
- May solve the sounds trouble you mentioned

@Bombast:
Again a splendorously outstanding bardsong. Now I have to think how to put it in a textbox to fit for a page. I think I would use new fonts for the new manual as with the original font I can not fit upon pages properly anymore...
Currently write Aer's pantheon and time-to-time I try the new texts how they fit on the document's page (A\4) and with the font I used originally I had lots of troubles. Perhaps I switch to "Ringbearer" font or use some gothic fonts instead of those looks like manuscripts...

Hi Duke, will finish the campaign in the old version, but will play it one day in the new one, be sure.

The no battle and movement sound problem with the newest OG Version appears for all campaigns, its really strange, i dont can find a solution. :howdy

Healer ability in OG is not base ability but something one assign for units on scenario level thus original FG healers can not be replicated.
And I totally rewritten the heroes' bio from scratches. First I have more factions what granted many contradiction by original FG lore and my mod essentially rewrites the history of Aer since the Shadowlord found a powerfull relic and turned back time to invade Aer again based on his previous experiences thus created a parallel or retcon FG-verse. + Slitherine created a semi-official FG sequel and they seemingly have more copyrights about the original FG-verse, so, I decided to recreate Aer's cosmology, pantheon, factions, bios and even the dark chocolates manufactured by evil twerg sorcerers...
Just read some new hero bios and you will see what I mean :) Even the Shadowlord have a past now and a more-or-less viable story how and why he turned to a dark nut of megalomaniac paranoia... Malkyn also have a cute portrait imported one of my older BG2 chars' portrait :P

Hello Duke, i found the solution for the soundproblem . In the newest OG Version i have to set the loudneslevel for the playing sounds to maximum and also set the loudnesslevel of the PC to Maximum to hear the sond. Strange, but finaly the latest OG works for me.
But maybe you could help me for another problem. In the old OG Version i had used the moving range when clik on a unit showed up in white, now it shows up in green. Is it possible to reverse it to white ? :howdy

If I understood correctly ....
It seems that you need to change the green color to white in the hex_blend.png file ...

Third parchment - the continents of Aer as of Bombast the Blue's account... (7 quatrains)

Of continuous land was, a single mass,
Ere The Shattering scarred Aer's face.
As great Raasar fell and came to pass,
Body pounding ground like mighty mace.

So it came the four continents to be,
And later by The Rising rose a fifth.
The four from each other had to flee,
The one by The Shadowlord was lift.

Keldonia mild marvel set to the West,
Laden orchards and fertile fields had.
Long forestalled great evil ere rest,
The Shadowlord let unleash all of bad.

Isle of the Four Winds in the center,
By incoming sea breezes gently swept.
After Aelcar, necromancer, did enter,
The dead rose while the living wept.

Avernion aloof amid what is the East,
Untame jungle, humid swamp, mounts.
Abundant treasure but also fell beast,
The unwary visitor with mistery haunts.

Pothia for most time white in icy North,
Land of rugged feature, hardy creature.
But Maloch the Blacklance sallied forth,
To no avail was resistance in its nature.

To talk of last come to a whisper I must,
For Fire Isles the Shadowlord did amass.
As Dragonscale Archipelago, came up fast,
Both evil workings never cleric can bless.

(This "cleric" must have crept in from Dungeon's and Dragon's...)

I here to announce that my e-files would delay a bit. Currently "working on" project - FG complete - would be ready toward the end of this year (hopefully) because I accumulated 2 months lag with it... Mostly blame MWO for it, got a bit addicted by Faction Play, but some other issues also exists. For this end I must speak with Luis in hope that such troubles could be solved...

Thanks for the understanding for the delays!

Finally - since had some time to afford for FG - composed Aer's pantheon:

Avantou the Dark Reaper, Archgod of Death
Raasar the Lightbringer, Archgod of Aer
Rhyn'Annon the Lifegiver, Archgoddes, mother of Avantou and Raasar, abandoned Aer
Anthagaar the Thundergod
Arach the Spider goddess
Handola the Goddess of Health and also of Love
Morthyssa the Lady of Ghosts, death goddess after Avantou's banishment
Mordakkur the Stoneshaper, main god of dwarves
Zhandukkar the Flameshader, fallen dwarf god now god of the twergs
Zhum'Mandak the Elfripper, god of goblins and orcs
Tammika the Sun Virgin, goddess of Fertility, Yield and Fortune
Baenryon and Zaenryna the Beautyful, twin gods of the elves
Vhal'Mandaar the Ageless, god of oceans and seas
Naan-nike the goddess of Joy and Dances
Bombast the Bard, demigod, risen to godhood by Handola, he is the patron of Art and Poetry
Thyragor the Terrible, demigod, risen to godhood by Avantou, evil god of Devastation and Dragonfolks
Khelkeresh the Sparkwing, demigod, risen by her victory over Thyragor, goddess of Dragonfolks
Ummar-Khash, demigod, banished by Raasar from godhood, still venerated god of the giants

Still, some things would be finessed a bit more but as a rough "skeleton" it is good...

From Handola blessing came, large,
Upon Bombast who just asked, me?
Astride came also a hefty charge,
Patron of Arts and Poetry to be.

Otherwise expectable to be posted in the music tubes topic, let's not forget this topic harbors a Dune E-file...

Uh, struggling toward an FG complete.

Made the last 3 nations units, soon put them in the e-file. Then comes the nine maps with their 5000x5000 dimensions +4 smaller ones before the last campaign could be assembled. And need to finish the manual's entries before put them together and drop them into PDF format...
Hell, I wanted to finish this whole thing in this year but clearly I could not even hope to do so...

The most pristine problem is that I have a new PhotoShop now and still not feel myself comfortable with it. CS5, looks frighteningly like GIMP and some old functions works differently... Not say I not know how to use it just old routines seems to bring disasters. Like Ctrl+G now not mean automatically cut-masking just grouping layers together such ways what, well, admit it: idiotic...
At least I am fully able to use older version PSD files, so my templates are at my service.

Finally! Fantasy General E-file now reached the FG Complete edition!
Check the first post, click the banner, download and enjoy!

Now two of my e-files are reached the "complete edition" state (Xeno General and Fantasy General). Now think about Dune e-file after some brake.

A huge thanks to Bombast the Blue for his magnificent poems written for FG's manual (check that to!) !!!
