CC LXXII Announcement

Post by CC Team » 2019-09-22 11:24, Sunday

CC Team is proud to announce
Unternehmen Barbarossa
For the Waffenkammer e-file version 4.02

As a celebration of the 20th birthday of Panzer General 2 this autumn, we have choosen one of the early user-made campaigns for PG2.
Like many early user-made campaigns it featured mostly original SSI maps and many slightly modified originial SSI scenarios.

The campaign is fast-paced and features mainly early to mid-war scenarios. It has two campaign paths (one "historical" and one "what-if") depending on your combat results
in Russia.

The campaign was also one of the first campaigns that were modified for another e-file. Maartens Folkers released an updated version of this original campaign,
but we have decided to do the original version as a CC since this version is more akin to the original PG campaign feeling.

Enjoy the Challenge!

E-file: Waffenkammer 4.02 (standard) (same e-file used in CC6 or CC7)... Please note that Rohan's updated Waffenkammer version is NOT allowed

This campaign can EITHER be played with Panzer General 2 (any version) if you still have a copy of the original game... OR you can use Open General version or newer.

The playing levels are as follows:

0% Field Marshal's level
20% General's level
50% Officer's level
75% NCO level
100% or above Troopie's level

ANY campaign path is valid for finishing the campaign. As usual you will have to finish the campaign with a win in order to qualify for the scroll, albeit a last scenario loss is also permissible. An early loss in the campaign will on the other hand NOT qualify as an successful run of the campaign

Players playing at the two lowest prestige levels ( Field Marshal and General ) as usual are asked to refrain from reloading during a scenario, or reloading for prototypes.
