1. seoul #1 - ltbv + aag proto (sold)

during the first 4 turns the auxes retreated toward seoul, but half of them died before reaching the city. when i got my hq inf and the 320pp cash, what was enough only for 2 national guards and a mortar. fortunately, it was enough to stop the commies in the city

sold the expensive proto, bought a tank and a cheaper spad

Because the campaign is so well playable, I started the second try yesterday. In doing so, I entered completely new territory for myself, because I am now trying 0% prestige. It will definitely be a little more exciting than anything before.

2. kum river line - ltbv (held 3 vhs)

my defense line was thin, and two noorth korean units (one towed gun and the the t-34) had dev.fire leaders. fortunately my hq inf (deployed south of kongju) could support my sparty and killed these nasty units asap (and i play this campaign 4th time, so i knew very well wat to expect :lol )

sold a national guard, bought a regular inf, gtp for the remaining national guard and bought a fighter

3. pusan - ltbv

i never understood how other players could have won this in gt-4. basically the western-central vh next to the river is undefendable, and always fell in gt-2, while my core can reach the fronts only in gt-3, gt-4, and either it can take the most southern vh in gt-6 or can help to liberate the lost vh in gt-8 (maybe in gt-7 if i had accepted losing more sp because of the overlaping north korean guns), but my core is too small to participate in both small battles, so a gt-9 (aka bv-2) is the most realistic at 20% :2cents maybe that's the explanation, at higher prestige level players have larger core :dunno

purchased a recon car and an aamg with fast jeep gtp for the next scenario, which is about the speed

Core size, and different tactics with aux usage.
I.e. i lost 17 auxes, you lost 27, which makes the defense more difficult.

:howdy , It is quite obvious that in this scenario they use a different tactic than most other players. In my 4 runs so far I have always achieved BV in a short time (turn 4 with 100%, 40% and 25% and turn 5 with 0%). The number of core units is secondary to the result. But it is important to have the right units. Infantry is not one of them. You need several (at least two) Range-6-SPATY (or comparable units). After 3 turns this is within range of the lost VH and can help very well to shoot the attackers out of this hex. The reconquest itself is carried out by the aux units from the Yongsan area. You can also move additional aux artillery from the south to the north and use the auxiliary tanks.
Never attempt an aux infantry attack on the lost VH. This attempt will end bloodily and unsuccessfully in the support fire of the opposing artillery, which is just waiting for it in the FOW on the other side of the river.
